Bridgeport CNC Mill
Starting point for information related to the Bridgeport Torq-Cut 22 CNC milling machine. Very much a work in progress.
Start-up procedure
- Power up CNC mill with power switch on back panel. Clockwise is "on", counterclockwise is "off".
Main power switch in the "on" position.
Main power switch in the "off" position.
The CNC mill requires compressed air so the shop air compressor has to be running.
If no one else needs compressed air, don't forget to turn off the compressor after you're done. There's a leak somewhere in the system.
- Valve to shop compressed air at CNC mill.
Compressed air valve closed.
- Lift red air valve on CNC
You'll find the machine's air valve on the left side of the mill. Just raise it.
Machine air valve in the closed - down - position
Machine air valve in the open - up - position
Loading Program from USB stick
- Insert USB stick in reader at back of mill behind spring-loaded door
