Hi,

I have always liked building things, and when I heard about maker spaces a few years ago, i was curious, but I was busy raising a family of 4. Now I am almost an empty nester, and getting more time to invest in the things I am interested in. I have several projects I want to work on, but don't have that many tools at home, so having a place to go like this is great. I ride a motorcycle (well, actually it is in storage during winter months), have a pilots license, but am far from current, and got my sailing card last year, so I like to get around. Some of my projects are focused on mobility, others on alternative energy, which I am also a big fan of. With the advancements in solar technology and battery systems, I am looking forward to a petroleum free future, even though I spent my high school years building fast cars.

I plan to be around a bit once I finally get accepted, so hope to meet as many of you as possible.
